Nora Whalen and Lynn Zettler met virtually through a coaching organization in 2009 and found they had a common passion for helping women in need and a burning desire to offer them something unique. Together, with coaches Nancy Olson and Lindsay Welch, who joined them in 2010, they created a vision and developed a one-of-a-kind model for W4C3. By offering one-on-one coaching opportunities to women across the United States, who are financially challenged (annual household adjusted gross income of less than $40,000*) in addition to learning, community and relationship building events for both coaching clients and W4C3 coaches, W4C3 strives to enhance the lives of as many women as possible.
W4C3 was incorporated on September 13, 2011 and received notification of 501(c)(3) status on March 9, 2012.
In January of 2012, financial planner Tia Brown Lee and Loretta Moore-Sutherland, a non-profit executive. were added to the Formation Committee, with Tamika Humphreys and Meridith Elliott Powell joining in June 2012. W4C3 was officially launched on July 1, 2012 with the first 3-month coaching round initiating in October, 2012.
W4C3 does not discriminate based on religious or spiritual beliefs, sexual orientation or political affiliations in any way. We are an inclusive community dedicated to changing the world one woman at a time.
